Behavioral Neurologist
The Department of Neurology at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking a Neurologist to join the Division of Behavioral Neurology & Integrated Brain Medicine. The applicant will be expected to have an active clinical practice, with efforts at both MGH West in Waltham and in the MGH Wang Ambulatory Care Center.
The candidate will play a prominent role as an active clinician and innovator in the Division of Behavioral Neurology & Integrated Brain Medicine. Expertise in assessing and managing a broad range of patients with neurobehavioral needs is preferred, including working with adults experiencing cognitive, behavioral, affective, and perceptual symptoms including individuals with neurodegenerative conditions, traumatic brain injury, neuropsychiatric presentations in the setting of known brain diseases, as well as functional cognitive disorder. The candidate will have opportunities to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team that includes neurologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, nurses, and other allied rehabilitation professionals. Experience in the conduct of clinical and/or translational research would be of interest but is not required.
Appointment as an Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School (HMS) along with a corresponding MGH appointment will be considered, commensurate with experience, training, and achievements. An HMS appointment carries the expectation that the candidate will engage in teaching in the Harvard community a minimum of 50 hours per year including the opportunity to supervise residents and fellows in a behavioral neurology clinic. Suitable candidates will have an MD, DO, or an MD-PhD, and ABPN certification in Neurology, as well as completion of at least one year of fellowship training in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry. UCNS certification in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry is preferred but not required. Those dual trained in neurology and psychiatry (regardless of fellowship training status) are also encouraged to apply.

Pay range for full-time openings is $372,431.00 - $398,703.00. Minimum salaries are inclusive of premium pay and incentives depending on skills and competencies and geographic location. Annual Salary will be based on longevity with the Group and FTE work schedule/effort.
